When your stomach is groaning, a hearty meal will set you right. When your soul hungers for justice and truth, you need another kind of food. You need to know that you are making a difference. At least, that was true of Jesus, who said his ‘food’ was to complete the work he had been sent to do. Do you know that feeling of being so deeply engaged in a task that you forget to eat? Something else is feeding you then ... Perhaps, like Jesus, you are making a difference for the world’s sake and that is what feeds your soul?Daily readings, thoughts from Graham.
