No greater love ... to lay down your life for others

Morning: Psalm 18:1-20; Exodus 16:10-22; I Peter 2:11-25
Countless people of faith down the ages have died for love - of a child, a spouse, their nation, an ideal. Lately, people have been willing to risk death for love of their fellow human beings. Today we remember and are grateful for them. St. George, whose day it is, was one of them, who embodied Jesus’s words: “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
