Evening: Psalms 81, 82; John 8:12-20

pray. Prayer is two-way: 1. listen then pass on what you hear – which
makes sense; or, 2. plead people’s cause – but, why is it necessary to
plead with God, who loves us? … Well, it isn’t, but it does help to let
off steam sometimes at how crazy the world seems! Humankind longs for
equilibrium and harmony … to be “reconciled to God”. Jesus sheds light
on things, if you let him, and you see the world again for the first
time. A light goes on, you can breathe, and that settles your heart.
