Evening: Psalm 118; Mark 6:30-46
Do
you ever write reminders on your hand? Imagine … God carves our names
on his hand. To God, we are unforgettable. He remembers us and loves us
unconditionally. We don’t have to get everything right! Perfection is
impossible for us, which may be why we hunger for deeper understanding.
So Jesus feeds us with truth. Then he equips those who choose to follow
him, so that they, too, will nourish others with real and spiritual
food: “You give them something to eat.”
