Evening: Psalm 19, 46; John 8:12-19
On
the American dollar bill are the words, “In God we trust.” Yet it’s
the dollar we really trust. In 2008, the world economy was shaken to the
core. Those responsible were not brought to justice. Now we print more
money to prop up a broken system. We still put our faith in the wrong
place. Are we blind to Love? In our devotion to money, we measure
people’s worth by what they have; our own worth too. But God is the
unshakeable one, and Love – do not trust in anything else.
